The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the design
process and tools which aid this process. These skills are practiced in a
10-12 week
"design and build" project. Other objectives include technical communication
(including a proposal for the ME 490 project), professional conduct (including engineering
ethics), and an introduction to engineering economics.
