MACHINE CONTROLS, SENSORS, AND ACTUATORS LAB

One thrust of this lab is the combination of advanced controllers that use adaptive, fuzzy logic and neural network structures with modern, high-speed digital signal processing (DSP) chips.  This lab also specializes in the development of advanced (smart) sensors to monitor processes,  Research in this laboratory also includes electro-mechanical hardware design and prototyping as well as mathematical modeling and simulation.
